In water injection and treatment, GPS is one of the leading providers of equipment for the treatment of seawater for injection into the reservoir offshore enhanced oil recovery.

GPS has a licence agreement with Cetco Oilfield services for the Eastern Hemisphere and formed an alliance for the production of proprietary CrudeSep water treatment technology which ensures the final polishing of produced water such that an FPSO water discharge can reach an oil-in-water specification of less than 30 ppm at a flow rate of approximately 45,000 b/d.

GPS EPC Images. GPS also has an agreement to market and manufacture subsea separation systems in seven geographic regions in the Asia Pacific. The agreement with UK based Alpha Thames Subsea Ltd is to use AlphaPRIME subsea technology at marginal oilfields in SE Asia. This involves the installation of pumping and processing equipment close to wells on the sea bed.

GPS has an exclusive agreement with SPT BV for the Middle East to market and distribute a new proprietary chemical which can remove hydrogen sulphide from acid gas which will be actively marketed by GPS from 2Q07. GPS will also design, fabricate and install the equipment required to process the sour gas
