The senior executives and board of GPS are as follows:
Clint Elgar, aged 48, Chief Executive Officer
Clint Elgar founded GPSI as president in 2000. Clint has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas services industry and has held senior positions in
a number of process oil & gas service companies. Between 1993 and 1998, Clint was the president of Kvaerner Process Systems based in Malaysia with
responsibility for development and expansion of that company in the Asia Pacific region and the day to day operation of Kvaerner Process Systems with a
US$50 million annual turnover, with 85 permanent and up to 350 contract personnel. Clint is the Group CEO and the Group sales and marketing director. A
Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers in the UK, Clint graduated from The University of Aston in 1981.
Keith Walker, aged 46, Chief Operating Officer
Keith Walker joined GPSI in 2004 as chief operating officer of the Group. Keith has over twenty five years extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining GPS, Keith held the positions of manager (major projects) for Santos Ltd based in Adelaide, Australia. Keith has also held senior project
management and engineering positions with Kvaerner Process Systems based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and J. Ray McDermott based in Jebel Ali, UAE. His experience
covers most facets of the oil and gas industry including project management, design, fabrication, construction and commissioning of offshore fixed and floating
production facilities, pipelines and onshore oil and gas plants.
Tony Wright, aged 35, Chief Financial Officer
Tony Wright has been the CFO of the Group since June 2005. Prior to joining the Group, Tony was the finance manager of the global manufacturing group of
IO (UK) Ltd. Before that Tony worked for the Expro Group as a Business Stream finance manager. Tony is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants and has more than five years of financial management experience in the oil and gas industry. His current role focuses on obtaining funds for the ongoing growth
of the business and the management of financial reporting within the group.
Glen Foulkes, aged 36, Group HSE Manager
Glen joined GPS as Group HSE Manager in December 2006. He has over 10 year's management experience of HSE within the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian Sub-continent. He has been overall
responsible for the smooth running of several large companies' in Dubai with 4 years in HSE consultancy management, prior to joining GPS; he was the Regional HSE manger for BSI (British Standards
Institute) Inspectorate division to look after the company's interests in North Africa the Middle East and India operations. He has a BSc in Risk Management and Safety Technology and is a
full member of IOSH and IIRSM.
Tony Bedford, aged 42, Group Commercial & Risk Manager
Tony joined GPSI in February 2007 as Commercial and Risk Manager for the Group. He has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and spent 8 years with the AMEC group working on
the Shell ISC Southern Fields Contract out of the UK. Other positions previously held include Commercial Governance Manager for Clough's oil and gas division out of Perth, Contracts Manager for
UK Fire and Senior Contracts Engineer for ExxonMobil de Venezuela. Tony's role focuses primarily on implementation and governance of the Commercial processes within the Group including Risk
Management and Contract negotiations.
Lee Hong Tein, aged 38, General Manager GPS Operation in Kuala Lumpur
Lee holds a BSc. Chemical Engineering Degree from National University of Malaysia and was one of the first employees that started at GPS in early 2000. Prior to
this Lee held engineering positions at Brown and Root Engineering Malaysia and Kvaerner Process Systems Asia Pacific.
Lee has 15 years of oil and gas industry experience covering the project management and process engineering design of upstream oil and gas process plant on
offshore topsides to onshore gas terminals for both conceptual and detail design.
Prior to assuming the role of running the KL operation , Lee worked in GPS Dubai and was mainly involved in tender preparation through to project management
of process skid packages from design, covering costing, project management , fabrication and contracts.
Lee's expertise is mainly in packaging process equipments such as gas dehydration, amine, water injection, produced water systems and etc for offshore and
onshore facilities.
Ian F Prescott, Director & General Manager Singapore.
Ian joined GPS in Dec 2007 located in our Singapore Office. He has over 25 years of extensive operational and project experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Minerals & Metals industries. He has
a widespread global background having lived, worked and/or held long term assignments in Europe, Asia, Africa and North & South America. Ian started his career with the Royal Dutch Shell Group of Companies
and had 13 successful years with the company. Ian has also enjoyed successful senior positions with other major industry contractor's such as Bechtel. Directly prior to joining GPS Ian was a Director of
Aker Kvaerner where he was involved and managed many major projects including business management assignments and Project Director roles on multibillion dollar project's.
Kingsley Onojaife, aged 38, General Manager Dubai
Kingsley, joined GPSI as General Manager for the Middle East and North Africa in December 2006. He has over 16 years extensive management experience. He has been overall responsible for
the project management, design, engineering, fabrication and construction of process equipment for Upstream Oil and Gas facilities for offshore fixed and floating platforms, Membrane and
Glycol reclamation technology projects. Prior to joining GPSI, he was the General Manager of Cameron Petreco Process Systems , in Rugby, UK and before that he was the Vice President &
General Manager of KCC Process Equipment in Houston were he was responsible for the business development and expansion of the company into the USA and South America. He is A Chartered
Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers and a graduate of the University of Exeter.
Ramon Dayap, aged 56, Group QA Manager
He has 32 years experience in E & P sector during design, fabrication, erection, commissioning and start-up of offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities worldwide. Prior to joining GPSI,
Ramon held field and managerial positions with McDermott SEA, Esso Production Malaysia and Petronas Carigali in various capacity including Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Control for
Marine Operations, Staff Specialist Engineer and Construction Advisor. He saw completion of Slugcatcher MLNG III Project in Sarawak as resident Quality Manager before joining GPSI in 2003.
His current role is to oversee the successful implementation and the continual improvement of GPSI Quality Management Systems
Herminio C. Supan, aged 46, Group Fabrication/Construction Manager
Herminio C. Supan joined GPSI in 2001 as Construction Manager of the Group. Herminio has over twenty five years of extensive experience in Fabrication and Construction of Modularized packages
for Oil and Gas Industry. Herminio was the Fabrication Manager of Kvaerner Process Systems based in Port Klang, Malaysia. His experienced covers most facets of the Oil and Gas Industry on
Construction and Fabrication of Offshore Fixed and Floating Production Facilities, Pipelines and Onshore Oil and Gas Plants. A member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE),
Herminio graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1981.
