GPS Dubai has received a Letter of Intent for the Badr Petroleum Co (Bapetco) Assil & Karam Development Project.  Bapetco is a joint venture between Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and Shell. This major award involves the design, engineering, procurement and fabrication for a large modularised Amine Plant to be installed in Alam El Shawish, the Western Desert, 250km west of Cairo city.   With a start date of January 2012, the project is scheduled for completion and delivery within 18 months.
